Service Terms & Conditions

BAHARASH ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR LTD is registered in England & Wales under company number 15526897, with its registered office at 11 Chalmers Way, Twickenham, London, TW1 1QG (“BAHARASH ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR LTD”).

1. Understanding These Terms

1.1 These terms (“Terms”) govern our provision of electrical services and related materials (“Goods”) (“Services”). Services are either: (i) Emergency Services, performed immediately; or (ii) Scheduled Services, pre-booked for non-urgent work.

1.2 “We”, “us”, or “our” refers to BAHARASH ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR LTD; “you” or “your” refers to the consumer or business contracting our Services.

2. Order Process

2.1 Orders can be made via email or phone (see clause 10). The contract (“Contract”) includes these Terms and any Verbal or Written Estimate.

2.2 For Emergency Services, the Contract binds upon accepting rates and agreeing to our attendance. For Scheduled Services, we provide a Written Estimate post-inspection, binding upon your acceptance and payment per clause 4.

2.3 Estimates may be withdrawn if Services aren’t completed within 30 days.

3. Cancellation (Consumers Only)

3.1 Consumers may cancel within 14 days of Contract formation, except for Emergency Services, by contacting us (see clause 10).

3.2 If Services start during the cancellation period, you’ll pay for work done or Goods supplied before cancellation.

4. Charges and Payment

4.1 Charges are:

  • Emergency Services: Hourly rate plus Goods cost (trade price + up to 45% markup, excluding VAT).
  • Scheduled Services: Verbal Estimates not exceeded by >10%; Written Estimates not exceeded by >20% (unless Goods prices rise).
  • Transaction fee: 1% + VAT on total cost.

4.2 Additional Services/Goods require your consent, or we may terminate the Contract, charging only for work done.

4.3 Payments: Emergency Services may require full payment upfront; Scheduled Services require 50% deposit, balance on completion. Large projects (>£20,000) may require instalments.

4.4 Payments by card, cash, or instant bank transfer. Late payments accrue 4% interest above JP Morgan Bank’s base rate.

5. Your Obligations

5.1 You must provide safe access, necessary plans, power, consents, and disclose hazards. Non-compliance may incur additional costs or Contract termination.

5.2 You’re responsible for Goods upon delivery and must insure them until fully paid.

6. Our Obligations

6.1 Services will be provided with care; Goods will be satisfactory and fit for purpose.

6.2 We offer a 12-month guarantee on workmanship, void if misused or altered by others.

6.3 No guarantees for damage caused by pre-existing issues, unpaid Services, or work done against our advice.

7. Termination

7.1 We may terminate if you breach the Contract materially or if additional Services/Goods are declined. Refunds apply for unperformed Services.

8. Liability

8.1 Neither party limits liability for death, injury, fraud, or unlawful exclusions.

8.2 Consumers: We’re liable for foreseeable losses only. Businesses: Liability capped at £500 or total Charges, excluding indirect losses.

9. Other Information

9.1 Clauses are severable. Non-enforcement doesn’t waive rights.

9.2 Contracts governed by English law; disputes under English courts.
